Catalyst Activators
Procedyne’s high temperature fluid bed system is uniquely well suited for catalyst preparation and catalyst activation. The Procedyne fluid bed catalyst activator is designed to completely and uniformly treat fine powdered catalyst at temperatures up to 1100°C. The fluid bed catalyst activator heats a catalyst powder to elevated temperature and exposes it to a reactive atmosphere.
Procedyne’s fluid bed catalyst activator has met the standards of major engineering and petrochemical companies and can be found operating in plants throughout the world.

Fluid Bed Dryers
Procedyne offers specially-designed fluid bed dryers for a wide range of drying applications. Procedyne fluid bed dryers can be designed for a wide range of temperatures, residence times and atmospheres, and specific configurations to best suit the application. Our systems can readily handle even the most demanding drying applications, including:
- highly sensitive materials with precise temperature and/or residence time requirements;
- high-temperature drying of bound water;
- diffusion-controlled drying to very low residual moisture levels.

Fluid Bed Food Processors
Procedyne fluid bed processors are used when it is necessary to heat a powder or granular food material. Our fluid bed food processors are constructed of stainless steel or other suitable alloy. The fluid bed food processor can operate from 60° up to 660°F (15-350°C) and offers excellent temperature uniformity and precise temperature control. Indirect heating provides high capacity and protection of the product.
The fluid bed food processor is designed for to facilitate quick and easy cleanout after the product treatment is completed.
